Many entrepreneurs face challenges in business due to missing key components in the building blocks of business. From scaling a strategic vision & mission statement, to not having the right company culture and people in place. These challenges can make or break a business and keeping in mind the basic building blocks can help shape a successful entrepreneur.
In order to build a successful business, entrepreneurs need to strategize and implement systems that directs the organization towards its goals. Having a strategy around products/services, marketing/branding, operations & execution's and building a strong company culture all play a vital role in company success. Just like constructing a sturdy building requires a strong foundation, thriving in the business world demands an understanding and mastery of its building blocks.
During the presentation, Osvaldo will cover:
Vision and Mission
Strategy and Planning
Products/Services Innovation
Marketing and Sales
Operations and Execution
People and Culture
My parents migrated from Jalisco, Mexico at an extremely young age and they were able to build a life in Reno, Nevada with a family of six. The hard work I saw my parents doing pushed me to try and support my family in any way I could. From a young age, I focused on getting the hard work done and creating value for myself and my family. I was not the best student growing up but in high school something clicked, and I decided to pursue higher education. Like most first-generation students, I struggled with all the different barriers that come up. Money and imposter syndrome were two issues that caused the most stress during school. But, with the support of the people around me and the Deans Future Scholars (DFS) program, I was able to attend The University of Nevada, Reno and graduate twice! In 2020 I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and then later in 2021 I graduated with my Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
