The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Nevada, Reno’s (located on W. Moana Lane) mission is to enrich the lives of individuals 50 years and older by offering a variety of educational programs, special and social events, outdoor activities, and opportunities for community engagement.
The guided tour will begin at the OLLI office (located on W. Moana Lane), where attendees will get an overview of member services and operations. From there, explore the various classrooms that host a diverse range of programs and activities. This includes OLLI’s smart classrooms, the honor library, conference rooms, and offices.
Throughout the tour OLLI’s Executive Director, Dolores Ward Cox, will be highlighting the history and mission of OLLI, emphasizing programs which are designed to enrich the lives of lifelong learners.
During your tour of OLLI’s campus, you’ll see/learn:
Overview of OLLI’s administrative operations and member services
Tour of the OLLI campus
Insight into the history and mission of OLLI
Observe ongoing classes and activities
Highlight on OLLI’s outdoor and recreational activities
