The University of Nevada, Reno K-12 Robotics Center is in the historic Southside Studio, formerly the Southside School, at the corner of Liberty and Sinclair Streets, across the street from the University’s Innevation Center. On the second floor of the building – operated by the University since 2019 – you will feel transported in time as you enter the state-of-the-art K-12 Robotics Center. Adjacent to the robotics field is a build area and workspace for student teams.
The vision for the center is to encourage young students’ interest in robotics, computer science, engineering and automation, and to create a pathway to degrees and careers. Robotics programs offer a unique extracurricular experience that's fun and exciting for kids and an opportunity for growth and new connections. You will hear from students, coaches and advocates on their experiences with robotics and the importance of expanding these opportunities within our region and beyond.
