The NCET is a member-supported nonprofit that produces educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology in Northern Nevada. Ms. Saavedra will serve as co-Vice President of Biz Bite and Special Events along with Nicole Berwager.
“NCET is committed to building up small businesses in Nevada and Melissa’s experience aligns perfectly with our mission; we’re happy to have her,” said Sarah Johns, NCET CEO.

“I am honored to have been elected to the board and excited to be part of an organization that encourages and empowers entrepreneurs while fostering an environment in which high-growth entrepreneurial companies could succeed and flourish,” Saavedra said. “This is a great opportunity to support NCET and its work towards producing programs and events to help people explore business and technology.”
