NCET names Chirag Parikh to board

Chirag Parikh will serve as co-VP of Biz Cafe, a monthly event featuring insightful speakers

Today the Nevada Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) announced the election of a new board member, Chirag Parikh. Mr. Parikh is a Financial Controller at Vidler Water Company (a division of D.R. Horton, Inc.) and will serve as NCET’s Co-VP of Biz Cafe where he will work to grow the Biz Café program and provide support in procuring local thought leaders who will enhance the knowledge and expertise of NCET members.

The NCET is a member-supported nonprofit that produces educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology in Northern Nevada.

“NCET is committed to bringing interesting speakers to our various events and Chirag will help make our monthly events even more exciting; we’re happy to have him,” said Sarah Johns, NCET CEO.

Chirag Parikh moved to Nevada in 2017 from Canada where he earned a Masters in Accounting and Honors Bachelor of Arts – Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo. He currently holds a CPA, CA designation. Mr. Parikh has over 17 years of professional experience and worked in both North and South America in the resources industry and at a large public accounting firm.

"I am looking forward to working with the fantastic team at NCET and being a part of this dynamic and growing organization,” he said. “My goal is to recruit even more compelling speakers to NCET events.”
