A few hundred feet from the banks of the Truckee River, Nutrient makes some of the most nutrient-dense food in the country.

Using the west coast’s largest sublimation unit, basically a giant vacuum chamber, Nutrient creates breakfasts, lunches, dinners, drinks and on-the-go meals. These aren’t boring, tasteless meal replacements. Instead, the company supercharges more than 30 different products, including cookies, macaroni and cheese, pad Thai, and even coffee.

Each product contains the essential nutrients humans need daily, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, and carbohydrates. Through precision manufacturing and individual ingredient dosing, Nutrient ensures each product contains accurate and consistent nutrient ratios.

The cookies, bars and cereals are cold baked in a sublimation unit. This proprietary process eliminates intense heat while still giving the foods a baked feel and appearance. By avoiding temperatures above 180 degrees Fahrenheit, Nutrient can mostly eliminate the nutrient degradation that happens by cooking food.

Part of Nutrient’s process includes live clinicals run by a Harvard-affiliated scientific team. These rigorous studies demonstrate the health benefits of the nutrient-dense products, from improving weight management to reducing pain, inflammation, and stress.

Seven years of research and development went into the proprietary recipes used in Nutrient’s 100,000-square-foot warehouse. Currently, the company produces 10,000 servings a month and can produce 20,000 servings a day.

Coming this fall, Nutrient plans to launch two new drinks.

The first is called Liquid Nutrient, a rapid hydration beverage with potassium-led electrolytes, 3 BCAAs, Tyrosine, and 13 essential vitamins to support energy. It has no artificial ingredients or added sugar, and it’s completely GMO-free. Liquid Nutrient will come in two flavors—grape and lemon-lime.

The second is Vitamin Booster+, which provides 100% of an individual’s daily vitamin needs. Each serving has between 15-30 calories and ranges from less than one gram to six grams of sugar. Efficient absorption, efficacy, and compliance are the biggest hurdles to choosing and taking supplements. Vitamin Booster+ offers maximum absorption and an easy way to get 13 essential vitamins, antioxidants, and three amino acids.

While launching these new products, Nutrient has been busy locally. They served as the Whitewater Sponsor of Reno RiverFest and sponsor snacks for the Reno Aces. The Nutrient booth appears at road races and triathlons in the region. In the future, the company hopes to open a cafe to give the public direct access to its food.

With all of these products and offerings, Nutrient works to live up to its mission: to offer the world’s most nutrient-dense functional foods and drinks that unlock the power of human potential.
