As one of 12 must-see exhibits in the country by USA Today, Reno’s National Automobile Museum (NAM) has 200 eye-popping cars with authentic street scenes, sounds, and facades. Add in its unique event and party venue space for corporate training, luncheons, receptions, dinners, weddings, and other special events, NAM has a “WOW” factor and is a detour you must take.

Join us for networking, an onsite tour of NAM, and an opportunity to visit with Phil MacDougall, NAM’s Executive Director, and staff who will amaze you with automobile stories of the past.

Here is what you’ll see and learn:

  • Cars of the Stars 1912 – 1973 collection and a 1907 Thomas Flyer automobile.

  • The story behind how Reno became one of the focal points for automobile history and Hot August Nights.

  • How NAM became home to the Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada focused on space exploration.

  • “Be the Astronaut” exhibit for a first-person experience for all ages that teaches science and engineering content via a fusion of state-of-the-art video game technology, simulators, and actual NASA reconnaissance data.

  • Special exhibits featuring hot rods, cool customs, art, and collectibles from around the world.
