Newly crowned Mrs. Nevada Petite, Shirie Winters works with organizations that help women get back on their feet. Within this work, Shirie noticed a need for not only women, but men as well – the need to “see” how separate pieces in a closet can become a workplace wardrobe. So, Shirie published a style guide which takes the worry out of what to wear. The guide is a tool for building success in the workplace and in life.
Shirie is breaking down this style guide, in person, for NCET.
During the August Biz Café, Shirie will cover:
Core pieces for creating workplace outfits
Create several outfits through mix and match
Find your personal style
Workplace etiquette
Business dinner etiquette
Hello beautiful and blessed woman, l'm newly crowned Mrs. Nevada Petite. As a little girl I always, wanted to be a beauty queen, and here I am at the age of 48 living my dream! I wanted to find a platform where I could give back to the women in my community and throughout the world. I want to show women that it's never too late to realize their dreams! I've worked in the fashion industry for over twenty years. Styling women is my passion. God has given me a gift to be able to build women's self-esteem and strengthen their confidence through personal style and etiquette. Style and etiquette go hand in hand; style gets you in the room but etiquette keeps you there. Having both is what helps people notice and remember you. I will teach you both! This guide is a tool to use on your road to success. The way you dress and carry yourself says a lot about who you are. That's why I created this guide. It will help you discover your personal style and learn how to dress for every occasion.
