This session will address real life scenarios implicating FMLA, ADA, and COVID-19 issues (including mandatory vaccination requirements). The presentation will involve fact patterns, which attendees will be encouraged to discuss amongst themselves and with the presenter. The discussion will also include different options to resolve the respective issues and the risks associated with each option. To the extent the fact patterns come from actual cases, the outcome of these cases will be revealed.

1:25 –2:20 pm Drive Your Business Through Your Story - Ira Gostin
Communicator, marketer and storyteller Ira Gostin will demonstrate how to craft the story of your business and implement it as your key marketing catalyst. Gostin, with his team at G8 Strategies, works with companies across the globe to create and deliver corporate stories with a singular goal of moving the needle. Marketing isn’t about likes, shares and hashtags, it’s about engaging your target audience with a story they can act on. 2:30 –3:30 pm Deciding to Keep or Exit Your Business - Brian Wheeler
This workshop is geared toward business owners who are facing the important question as to what’s next for their business. It may be disruption from COVID 19, recognizing the need for a business investment or as a business owner you are ready for a change. Regardless of the reason, a decision is needed as to whether to keep or pivot the business and make the investment for growth or to successfully exit the business. This is a difficult question to answer and requires careful consideration as to the best go forward path for the business and you as the business owner.
