Do you know how new health insurance laws will affect you and your family? Our September Tech Café will help, as Valerie Clark, president of insurance brokerage firm Clark & Associates, discusses “The Conundrum of the U.S. Healthcare System.”
Don’t be afraid of the dark. Or the white. Krysta Bea Jackson is here for you. Jackson, the owner of Sugar Love Chocolates in the Basement shops of the West Elm building, is debuting Sugar Love University, a series of 11 monthly classes on the history, chemistry and cultural role of chocolate. The first class begins Aug. 24. The last one takes place in June 2017.
Starting in June, NCET’s Tech Cafe has a new format and a new location in “The Basement.” Each month we’ll have a local expert offering business and professional development tips, great raffle prizes, information about NCET, and an introduction to one of the fabulous new businesses who call The Basement home. In June, Chuck Sweeney offers tips on “Shameless Self-Promotion and on how to make networking painless and productive, and Brianna Bullentini shows you how “Rawbry,” an edgy cold-pressed juice bar, can help you steal back your health!
