TMCC is seeking mentors of all backgrounds who are willing to give 3-5 hours each semester to guide the future of Nevada: our youth. Mentors must be 21 years of age, willing to provide information to conduct a criminal history report and able to participate in one mandatory training session.

SCORE is a nationwide group of volunteers focused on helping individuals establish and grow businesses. These volunteers have a wide diversity of skills they share at no cost to the clients. The Northern Nevada SCORE Chapter has individuals with expertise in communications, social media, business services, business operations, marketing, sales, administration, human resources, budgets, manufacturing, product development, contracting and internet technologies among others. These mentors are all well versed in current trends and draw on many years of executive experience in their industries.
Back in the day, SCORE stood for the “Service Core of Retired Executives.” Today, SCORE’s counselors are real-world professionals, both active and retired, who use their knowledge and experience to help people in business, about to start a business, or just thinking about starting a business. Supported by grants from the US Small Business Administration, SCORE is the nation’s largest volunteer business mentoring service.
