Third time was definitely the charm for Reno’s Charter Business team in its third year as Diamond Sponsor for the 8th annual Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Expo.
The Diamond Sponsorship was once more a glittering success for Charter Business , with a premium booth location and space to create an interactive experience for attendees. The Charter Business team offered a special incentive for those interested in learning more about commercial phone and Internet services. Potential customers were offered a Plinko™ chip to play on the Plinko™ board at the booth to determine the number of raffle tickets they would receive. The grand prize was a 42-inch flat screen television, and Carolyn Schrader, CEO of Cyber Security Group was the winner.
“NCET is a wonderful event and an example of why it’s a pleasure to do business in Northern Nevada,” said Ms. Schrader. “Charter Business and the other exhibitors want to genuinely help you improve your business, and I experienced this firsthand by working with local Charter Business account representative Scott Nestaval.”
“I was actually looking to talk to someone with Charter Business about switching services,” added Ms. Schrader. “ I was glad I met Scott at the Charter booth and even more excited that I was able to connect with a truly local account rep. We talked about my current technology services, and then he let me play the Plinko ™ game to enter the raffle. Scott made the whole process so easy, including meeting with me after the expo to discuss my business needs. And now I not only have a new TV, but faster Internet by switching to Charter Business.”
Clayton Eason, Charter Business Sales Manager for the Reno area, had high praises for the NCET Expo and the opportunities it affords his team of account executives.
“This annual event offers local professionals the opportunity to network with business owners, entrepreneurs, investors and community leaders,” said Mr. Eason. “NCET attracts more than 1,000 people from across the region to visit the 100+ exhibitors and attend educational sessions to learn how to grow their businesses. “Charter Business loves the relationship we have with NCET and are pleased to be the Diamond Sponsor,” said Eason. “Having a fun, interactive experience paired with an awesome prize offered us time to really talk to the attendees and learn more about their businesses. Many of our conversations turned into great leads, and we had a solid foundation to build from following the expo to provide the right solution to fit the businesses’ needs.”
Mr. Eason added, “We keep coming back because Expo is an excellent opportunity for Charter Business to strengthen our relationship with the Northern Nevada business community. NCET offers an unparalleled opportunity to reinforce the presence of our local account executives and the support they provide to their business customers.“
