The Reno Angels and Summit Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) are joining forces to help entrepreneurs in the Northern Sierra Region. The Reno Angels, at its monthly meetings, will hear pitches from entrepreneurs participating in Summit VMS’ comprehensive mentoring program. The goals are to provide real-world feedback to the entrepreneurs on their business plans and presentations, and to consider investments in selected businesses.
Kathie Priebe, the Reno Angel’s Chair, noted, “Teaming with Summit VMS supports the Reno Angels’ goals of giving back to the community by providing feedback and guidance to our regions’ entrepreneurs and by strengthening our economy by investing in local companies.
Bryan McArdle, Summit VMS’ Operations Manager, added, “This new relationship allows Summit VMS to tap into the wide range of knowledge and expertise possessed by members of the Reno Angels, and potentially represents a new source of funding for Summit VMS’ entrepreneurs.”
