See where Lincoln Electric builds plasma cutting tables, some weighing up to 10,000 pounds, in its vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Reno during this Tech Wednesday.
Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems, which produces products such as Torchmate and Vernon Tool, is a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc-welding systems, plasma, and oxyfuel cutting equipment. For 30 years, the company has manufactured cutting machines from small home machines to large capacity industrial machines.
With operations in over 40 manufacturing locations in 19 countries, Lincoln Electric Company is a publicly-traded company with more than 10,000 employees around the world.
The company’s Reno office produces Torchmate automated plasma cutting tables, from entry-level to industrial machines. It employs about 90 people and produces about 600 tables per year in its vertically-integrated facility.
Businesses rooted in agriculture, industrial manufacturing, architecture, and a host of other industries use Torchmate cutting tables. The tables have been used to manufacture race cars and Burning Man art. Locally, Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems partners with colleges and schools to educate students about plasma cutting.
