Learn how a cup of Davidson’s Organics tea makes its way from an organic tea garden in the midst of the Himalayas to the company’s new headquarters in Sparks during this Tech Wednesday.
For more than 40 years, Davidson’s has been developing its relationships with tea producers in India. Every tea, every spice and every herb used in any of Davidson’s blend derives from small tea producers or small, disenfranchised farmers throughout the world.
The company is also the first exclusively organic tea purveyor in the nation and one of this only vertically integrated tea producers in the world.
During this Tech Wednesday, you’ll get a tour of Davidson’s new, 50,000-square-foot headquarters in Sparks. This location is where Davidson’s stores its more than 500 ingredients to create more than 300 varieties of tea blends.
The Sparks location is also the hub of the company’s tea blending and development. Since its inception, Davidson’s has worked tirelessly to develop tea blends that are an accurate reflection of the fruit or spice character for which each blend is named. During Tech Wednesday, participants will learn how the tea blending process happens.
Of course, the event will also include tea tasting. During an exclusive cupping session, the Davidson’s tea experts will teach participants how to evaluate the flavors of different ingredients.
Don’t miss this chance to go beyond the cup!
