NCET helps you explore business and technology

As the digital marketing industry evolves, the approach you take to reach your audience needs to keep up the pace. Our rallying cry at Noble Studios is “Let’s Be Better Every Day!”, so our team spends substantial time researching what’s next in digital marketing to make sure our clients are at the forefront when it comes to digital strategies.
And we can tell you, 2019 is going to be full of innovation. We are encouraging our clients to focus on improving the customer experience through custom, conversational, personalized content. These five tips will help put you ahead of the curve.
- AI is only getting smarter (and is being used more frequently).
Artificial Intelligence (or machine-learning) is being used to inform brands about the buying habits of their customers. Software is getting better at modeling how customers find your products and interact with your brand. From CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), PPC (Pay Per Click) Ads, and even AI-powered content creation, artificial intelligence is being used to learn how to better engage with a company’s audience. Machine-learning can even identify customers that are disengaged and getting ready to leave for a competitor. Implement some form of AI into your brand strategy for 2019, you’ll thank us later.
- Image search, voice search and voice assistants.
Image search allows users to upload a photo of a product, book, landmark, painting, or even a business card to learn more about it. This, coupled with the increasing use of voice search (through mobile and voice assistants), has made it very clear that companies need new strategies to embrace this technology. The number of errors made by voice assistants (think Alexa, Siri and Google) are greatly reduced through the use of AI. Does your digital strategy include conversational content? It should!
- Say ‘Hello’ to chatbots.
Fast, friendly, quick to answer and built with an uncanny ability to never lose patience, chatbots are changing the way customers interact with brands. These virtual assistants are AI-informed and in certain instances can provide superior customer service. With the ability to chat in real time, day or night, many customers prefer these interactions. If your company handles many FAQs on the daily, introducing a chatbot could increase customer satisfaction.
- Video isn’t going away.
Video is going live, becoming more search friendly (thanks again, AI), and with the introduction of embedded virtual and augmented reality, becoming immersive. Video is being used for marketing, sales, IT, internal communications, customer service, HR and more. Think about how your company can start using video creatively in the early months of 2019.
- Cyber security is of the utmost concern.
The risks of hacks and data breaches for companies are at an all-time high. Creating a safe space for your customers to interact, purchase your products, and share their personal information is critical. Following the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), around 80% of multinational companies may fail to comply with GDPR if they do not understand modern Data Protection regulations. Study up and make sure you’re in compliance before 2019 kicks off.
