So you’ve decided to start a business…Now what?
August 29, 11 am – 1:00 pm
Did you know that approximately half-million new businesses nationally get started each month but more employer businesses shut down than start up each month? Or that, only a half of new employer firms stay in business at least 5 years? Don’t become another unfortunate statistic!
On August 29, join NCET and C.J. Manthe, the Director of the Department of Business and Industry, for a discussion about the ins and outs of starting a business.
The presentation will focus on 5 key elements:
- The importance of knowing the business landscape
- Why you should get out there and network
- How to develop your brain trust aka the right people to help you get started
- How to stay ahead of the curve by keeping eye focused on new trends and technology.
- How to use the interactive Guide to Starting a Business in Nevada on the Business & Industry Website.
Come for the lunch and learn about the plethora of resources that are available to entrepreneurs to help them navigate the process of starting a business.
