Monthly business workshop continues at Reno City Hall

It’s a new year, and historically, it’s a time when people get serious about their goals, such as starting a new business. What’s the first step? Find out what you don’t know, and get face-to-face with some knowledgeable resources, during the next “Assess – License – Launch” workshop on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 7:15 to 9 a.m.

Event: How to Build a Nevada Based Business

Presenters: Rod Jorgensen, Director of Business Counseling, Nevada SBDC; Fred Turnier, Community Development Director, City of Reno

Date/Time: Friday, January 9, 2015; 7:15-9 a.m.

Location: Reno City Hall, 1 E. First Street

Cost: FREE to the public

“Assess – License – Launch” is a monthly program designed to educate business owners on how to assess their venture prior to licensing and launching. The City of Reno is collaborating with two University of Nevada, Reno College of Business outreach centers: the Nevada Small Business Development Center and the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship. The 90-minute program will be held the second Friday of each month at Reno City Hall.
