The structure created by those visionary leaders — today known as NCET — has grown into an organization 600 members strong that’s the largest educational and networking organization in Northern Nevada. As NCET celebrates its anniversary this year, business leaders credit the organization with establishing the foundation for today’s burgeoning tech sector in northern Nevada.
We are very pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 EDAWN Awards. The EDAWN Awards recognize the people and resources that have played an integral part in contributing to the growth of our community, while the NCET Tech Awards – now in its 12th year – celebrate the Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of technology community.
Brook Bentley has been elected vice president of social media and image management for NCET. Jon Edmondo and Annie Flanzraich have been re-elected to the board of directors.
Dave Archer has been re-elected as president and CEO of NCET, a member-supported non-profit that produces educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology.
Henry Merschel has been elected vice president of public relations for NCET. Matt Brown, Jock Ochiltree and Erich Schmitt have been re-elected to the NCET board of directors.
Kristin McClellan and Kurt Thigpen have been elected to the board of NCET, a member-supported non-profit that produces educational and networking events to help people explore business and technology. “Kristen and Kurt bring impressive skills in digital marketing that will further strengthen the NCET board,” said Dave Archer, its president and chief executive officer. “We deeply appreciate their willingness to serve our organization.”
Jonathan Burke and Alex Schneider have been elected to the board of NCET, a member-supported non-profit that produces networking events to help individuals and businesses explore and use technology. Burke, an independent financial analyst specializing in business and nonprofit planning was elected as NCET’s vice president of audio-visual. Schneider, the supervisor of Web for Renown Health, was elected as NCET’s vice president of newsletter.
