Melissa Marsh is a co-founder of HRinDemand, a Reno-based human resources consultancy company that provides easy-to-use tools and expert guidance to help entrepreneurs and small business owners effectively recruit, hire and manage employees.
Melissa began her career in human resources more than 15 years ago in the casino industry. Over the years, her experience has grown to include a variety of industries from food and beverage to publishing, and companies as small as entrepreneurial start-ups and as large as Fortune 500s. Today, she focuses on providing consulting services to businesses with less than 100 employees. She is a member of the Reno chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and was on the organizational committees for the 2012 Nevada State SHRM Conference and the 2013 Nevada State Legislative Conference. As a native Nevadan and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Melissa understands people, the Nevada business environment, and the laws that govern employers.
